TODAY'S STARTING PITCHER: 20-year-old Joey Wentz makes his 10 start of the season in the middle game of the three-game set against the Blue Jays on Wednesday morning...The 6'5" lefty entered the 2018 season as the 10th-ranked prospect in the Atlanta Braves organization, according to MLB.com...The Shawnee Mission East High School product did not factor into the decision of a 2-1, 10-inning loss to the Daytona Tortugas on June 22...The southpaw blanked the Cincinnati Reds' affiliate on just one hit, one walk and two strikeouts on 64 pitches (41 strikes) through four frames...Wednesday will be Wentz's first career start against the Blue Jays.

FLORIDA DROPS SERIES OPENER TO DUNEDIN: Ian Anderson tossed his second consecutive quality start, but the Florida Fire Frogs' offense continued to search for answers in a 5-1 loss to the Dunedin Blue Jays to open up a three-game series at Osceola County Stadium on Tuesday night. Florida's bats have averaged just 2.5 runs-per-game since the All-Star break, leading to a 2-6 record.

Garrison Schwartz picked up two of the team's five hits, including a double and a run scored on a wild pitch.

START YOUR ENGINES!: Despite suffering the loss, Ian Anderson continued the strong start to the second half by Fire Frogs' starters...Joey Wentz, Kyle Muller, Jeremy Walker, Tucker Davidson and Anderson combined to allow nine runs, but only six have been earned across 27 innings (2.00era).

IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE: Florida's offense provided just one run of support for Ian Anderson on Tuesday night, and has only scored 21 runs while the 20-year-old is out on the mound...The Fire Frogs are just 2-12 when the Atlanta Braves' fifth-ranked prospect makes a start, but are being outscored by just five runs when the right-hander is in the game.
