
Flight To Be Featured On BET Saturday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Mar. 12, 2003) â The Huntsville Flight will be featured on Black Entertainment Television (BET) this Saturday, March 15, as part of the channel's popular show "MAAD Sports" at 11 a.m. CT.
The BET crew was in town for the Flight's Jan. 18 tripleheader called "Hoops Hysteria" at the Von Braun Center. Along with the Flight's 94-87 victory over North Charleston that day, the BET cameras also captured a collegiate men's and women's doubleheader between in-state and Southwestern Athletic Conference rivals Alabama A&M and Alabama State.
The Flight game drew a National Basketball Development League record crowd of 6,583 fans, while the three-game total for the day drew a capacity audience of 7,109.
Along with a feature on the tripleheader, the show will showcase Flight and North Charleston players picking their favorite videos during the program. The show will air on cable channel 20 on Comcast and cable channel 48 on Knology.
