Fleet Partners with Second Chance Beer Company

SAN DIEGO, CA - February 26, 2019 - The San Diego Fleet and Second Chance Beer Company today announced a partnership crowning Second Chance as the Proud Craft Beer Partner of the Fleet.

Second Chance Beer Company is an award-winning independent craft brewery in San Diego founded by Marty Mendiola, Curtis Hawes and Virginia Morrison in 2015. They operate a popular brewery in Carmel Mountain Ranch and a beer lounge and tasting room in North Park.

"We could not have dreamed up a better craft beer partner for the Fleet. Not only does Second Chance make great beer, but their brews are unique and local to San Diego," said President Jeff Garner. "Their strong foundation in second chances meshes seamlessly with the mission of The Alliance and all of our players."

In addition to serving beer in over 1,000 restaurants, bars and retailers throughout San Diego, Second Chance beer is also available all throughout SDCCU stadium, at the club level, in select permanent stands and during the pregame Dock Party for all Fleet fans. The core beers distributed are Seize the IPA®, Clever Hoppy Name® Pale Ale, Mulligan™ Amber, Over-the-Line® Lager™ and Tabula Rasa® Porter.

As the Proud Craft Beer Partner, Second Chance is hosting Fleet watch parties at both of its Tasting Room locations for all remaining away games against the Memphis Express (Mar. 2), Arizona Hotshots (Mar. 24), Salt Lake Stallions (Mar. 30) and Orlando Apollos (Apr. 6). There will also be a postseason party.
