Western New York Flash News Release
ELMA, N.Y. - The Western New York Flash has waived Lady Andrade, the club announced today.
The Colombian midfielder joined the Flash during its 2015 NWSL campaign after representing Colombia in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Andrade made 8 appearances (4 starts) during her tenure in Western New York.
"It's important for Lady at this point in her career that she is on the field and developing as a professional," said WNY Flash head coach Paul Riley. "She showed some great moments while she was here, but I think for her continued growth, she needs to be a consistent starter. We certainly wish her the best in her future endeavors."
The Western New York Flash return to Rochester to take on Sky Blue FC on Saturday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m. ET. Tickets are available for the match at wnyflash.com/tickets and as well as a live stream of the game at youtube.com/NWSL.
