December 6, 2009 - NBA G League (G League)
Utah Flash News Release

Orem, UT, Dec. 6, 2009 - The Utah Flash will finally get a chance to play in front of a home crowd for the first time this season on Monday Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. The Flash will host the Dakota Wizards at 7 p.m. at the McKay Events Center in Orem.

"After a challenging yet successful road trip, I know that our players are super excited about playing at home," said Head Coach Brad Jones. "Our players have talked about it all road trip and we know how great our fans are. We are excited to get home and show these fans who we are as a team. Flash fans provide a definite home court advantage which helps us as a team."

Utah had a successful road trip to start the season winning four of five road games. The 4-1 start is the best start by the Flash in franchise history. The Flash are lead by veterans Dontell Jefferson, Andre Ingram, Carlos Wheeler and Bennet Davis.

"After a long 11 day road trip it will be really good to get back in the familiarity of our home court and be back with our fans," said Ingram. "Our fans are great and we are all excited to play in front of them Monday night."

Currently the Flash have seven players averaging double digit in scoring per game. Despite recent roster shuffling Utah has still found a way to win.

Dakota comes into Monday's game after a loss at Idaho and with a 2-2 record. The Flash look to avenge a devastating loss in the first ever home game as a franchise back in 2007 when Kevin Lyde hit a turn-around jump shot to beat the Flash at the buzzer, 99-97.

In addition to the excitement the Utah Flash provide on the court, there is a rematch scheduled to take place between Bryon Russell and Michael Jordan at halftime of Monday night's game. Russell will be waiting "with his shorts on" at halftime of this game in preparation for the proposed rematch.

Tickets are still available for Monday night's game and can be purchased by calling 801-434-4667.
