Flags announce training camp schedule

Port Huron Flags News Release
Port Huron, MI-The Port Huron Flags will open training camp with an afternoon practice this Sunday, October 9th from 3:00-4:00p at McMorran Arena.
Flags fans, as always, are invited to come out for the Flags' first official practice on Sunday. Camp will continue on through the next two weeks, with ice times scheduled for 9:30a to 11:30a Monday through Friday. All practices will be held at McMorran Arena and are open and free to the public. Camp concludes on Thursday October 20th.
Two exhibition games are also scheduled before the home opener on October 21st. Dates and times of the preseason games are as follows:
Friday October 14th Flags vs. Flint Generals 7:30p @ McMorran Arena ($5 general admission tickets now on sale at The Flags Office)
Saturday October 15th Flags vs. Flint Generals 7:30p @ Flint
In other news, The Flags have recently surpassed the 1,100 season ticket mark. Flags' Director of Ticket Sales Bob Gearing said this morning that ticket sales are currently over 1,180.
Spots are still open for The Flags 1st Annual Golf Outing which will take place on October 18th at Black River Golf Club. The cost is $90/golfer and also includes tickets to the banquet and festivities that follow. This is the first opportunity Flags' fans will have to meet and greet the players. Tickets for The Flags' upcoming exhibition game and home opener weekend are also on sale now on at The Flags' Front Office located at 333 Huron Ave in downtown Port Huron. Fans interested in reserving seats for the Inaugural Season can also call (810) 982-FLAG to purchase tickets.
