Fisher Cats Announce Front Office Staff Promotions and New Hires

Manchester, NH - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are pleased to announce several front office promotions and welcome new hires to the Fisher Cat Family. The front office is gearing up for an exciting 2007 season, filled with many new promotions and giveaways and twenty Atlas Fireworks shows. The 2007 season kicks off on Thursday, April 5, 2007 as the Fisher Cats take on the New Britain Rock Cats at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium.

"We are really looking forward to the upcoming season," said Fisher Cats President and General Manager, Rick Brenner. "The 2007 season will be filled with many new and exciting things - on and off the field. We have a group of passionate and experienced professionals in our front office staff that are dedicated to providing our fans the best experience possible when they visit MerchantsAuto.com Stadium."

Promotions within the front office staff include Danielle Matteau taking on a new role as Assistant Director of Marketing & Public Relations. Danielle is continuing her work with the corporate sales department but will focus much of her duties during the season on organizing and promoting player and mascot appearances and handling the team's community relations efforts. Danielle is currently organizing the Fisher Cats Reading Challenge, a statewide, middle school literacy campaign aimed at getting students to read above and beyond their normal curriculum. Students who participate and reach the targeted goal will be recognized during a Fisher Cats home game, and will be rewarded with Fisher Cats memorabilia.

Sam Boudle has been promoted to Director of Stadium Operations. Sam oversees daily operations of Merchantsauto.com Stadium to include all non-baseball related activities and entertainment. Brian Weigler will add promotions and community relations to his existing duties in ticket sales and merchandise as he takes on the position of Community Relations and Baseball Operations Assistant. Kelly Spain joins the staff as the team's Office Manager.

A familiar face around the stadium, Brian Cronin joins the Fisher Cats staff full-time after working as a part-time usher the past two seasons. Brian is focusing his Fisher Cats energy on selling tickets, everything from group to season tickets to mini-plan packages.

Joining the front office staff as the Executive Vice President of Business Operations is Daryl Jasper. Daryl spent the past 12 years with the Pawtucket Red Sox, with the last seven of those years as the Assistant General Manager. Daryl will focus on developing new corporate relationships while overseeing daily operations.

Kristin Beernink has joined the Fisher Cats as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. The Fisher Cats mark the fifth minor league team Kristin has worked with, most recently coming from the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, the advanced A team for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. While with the Quakes, Kristin was the Director of Entertainment. With the Fisher Cats, Kristin will focus her talent on game day production while marketing the team.

Mike Ramshaw, joins the Fisher Cats as Director of Ticket Sales. Mike joins the team after spending 10 years working in sales for Nestle and Poland Springs. He will head up the Ticket Sales department and oversee sales of all group, individual, and season tickets.

Kaitlyn Tomasello joins the team as the new Box Office Manager. She has spent the past four seasons working with the Eastern League's Connecticut Defenders, the San Francisco Giants Double-A affiliate.

Another addition to the ticket sales department as Ticket Sales Account Executives includes Stephanie Livoli. Last season Stephanie worked for the Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox).

Filling the role of Assistant Director of Stadium Operations will be Ross Rodriquez. Ross was previously employed by the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also served three internships with the New York Yankee's Double-A affiliate, the Trenton Thunder, also of the Eastern League. Ross will be responsible for the general operation of the stadium and will also supervise the Fisher Cats Internship Program.
