'Fish Finish Season with Full Slate of Promotions

Columbus, GA - The Columbus Catfish bring an eight-game winning streak back to Golden Park to begin the last eight-game home stand of the season. The Charleston RiverDogs and Rome Braves will swing by for four games apiece. Come out for fun and exciting promotions during the home stand:

Thursday, August 24, 7:00pm vs. Charleston: Join us for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Night presented by TIC Federal Credit Union. Purchase general admission tickets are your nearest TIC and part of the proceeds goes to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Also, members of the Columbus Cottonmouths hockey team will be on hand for Columbus Cottonmouths Night. Cottonmouth season ticket holders get a free general admission ticket. Each Thursday at Golden Park is Thirsty Thursday sponsored by Rock 103, which means draft beer and soft drinks are only one dollar. It is also College Night, so students can take advantage of a one dollar discount when showing a student ID (does not include Skybox tickets).

Friday, August 25, 7:00pm vs. Charleston: After tonight's game we'll have our last fireworks extravaganza of the season! Fox 54 and Dodge will give away a trip to Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida. Employees of the Muscogee County School District get a $2 ticket when showing their ID badge. Employees of Columbus Consolidated Government get a free ticket when showing their CGC ID. Members of PTA get a $3 ticket when showing their membership card. Fridays and Saturdays all season the Fox 54 Family Fun Pack gets you four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and a souvenir program for just $20. The 'Fish with a Cause Campaign showcases Our House Methodist Children's Home. Before tonight's game two players will sign autographs in the main concourse. After the game kids run the bases like their favorite players.

Saturday, August 26, 7:00pm vs. Charleston: Help us honor our Soldiers with the last Military Appreciation Night, sponsored by Tidwell Cancer Treatment Center. Before the game WHINSEC will present the colors and Chief Warrant Office Fred J. Catchings will sing the national anthem. Then the Silverwings will drop in with the first pitch ball, which will be tossed by Major General Walter Wojdakowski. Show your military ID for free admission to the game. Sunday, August 27, 6:00pm vs. Charleston: Tonight the Catfish will host Latino Night with the help of Viva 1460 AM. We will celebrate Latino culture with fun, music and food provided by Millie's Market. Every Sunday enjoy Sunday Suds and Dogs, a 24-ounce beer and a hot dog for just $5 thanks to Rooster 106.

Monday, August 28, 7:00pm vs. Rome: If you can spare a buck come to Golden Park to see the Catfish. Each Sunny Monday all fans can get a General Admission ticket for just one dollar sponsored by Sunny 100. Bring your group out for Faith and Family Night presented by ChristianPlug.com, Columbus Community News, Sunny 100, Ink Apparel, and Sanctuary Christian Store. Get to the park early for a pre-game concert by Less of Me.

Tuesday, August 29, 7:00pm vs. Rome: Every Two-for-Tuesday, fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one at the box office window (does not include Skybox tickets).

Wednesday, August 30, 7:00pm vs. Rome: If the Catfish win on Guaranteed Wins-Day each fan in attendance gets free admission to the following Thursday game. Redeem your Wednesday winning ticket at the box office.

Thursday, August 31, 7:00pm vs. Rome: During the final game of the season we'll thank our supporters with Fan Appreciation Night. It's also Children's Miracle Network Night, and Columbus Regional Hospital employees get a $3 ticket when showing their ID badge. After the game the Catfish will auction off their game-used home jerseys. Make your bid in the souvenir store or by sending an e-mail to sdunn@columbuscatfish.com. The minimum bid is $100.
