Delmarva Shorebirds News Release

Being a season ticket holder for your hometown team has many special benefits. You receive wonderful things such as VIP parking, special reduced rates on promotional nights, advanced notification on all Shorebirds events, and valuable savings on concessions each night, just to name a few.

However, one of the most special benefits of owning season tickets with Your Shorebirds is being able to turn in unused tickets for general admission tickets to another game!

Over 740 tickets were donated thanks to: Harley-Davidson of Seaford, BJ's on the Water, Harley-Davidson of Ocean City, Mr. John Glover, Atlantic Bay Homes, and Delaware Appliance. All have used this fantastic perk for a very special cause as they have donated their unused season tickets to local non-profits. One such beneficiary is the Church of the Anointed One, which in turn will bring less fortunate members of our community out to a Shorebirds game who might not have been able to make it out on their own.

"For season ticket holders and mini-plan participants, no ticket should every go unused!" remarked General Manager Stephen C. Yaros. "If you purchase tickets as part of one of our plan programs, greatest benefit is that even if you miss a game, the ticket can be used again by exchanging it at our box office for a future General Admission ticket. If you don't think you can personally use that ticket, Your Shorebirds Front Office will be more than happy to donate those tickets to a charity of your choice or we can find one for you. It's a very rewarding thing to do!"

Your Shorebirds tip their caps to our very generous season ticket holders and the charities they support!
