Windsor Spitfires News Release
Christian Fischer (1G, 2A) made a big impression in his first two games as a Windsor Spitfire. For his efforts, Fischer is the 2015-16 season's first Motorburger Player of the Week.
The bruising winger had a goal and was a physical force in a 4-3 (OT) loss to Erie on Opening Night at the WFCU Centre Thursday. A night later, Fischer assisted on a pair of goals, including Mikhail Sergachev's dramatic overtime winner, as the Spits earned their first win of the season in the Soo.
Fischer leads the Spitfires back into action this Thursday night, as they host the Saginaw Spirit. Christian will be recognized during the game and, best of all, will receive a $25 Motorburger gift card.
