Montreal, March 16th, 2009 - The Montreal Juniors just received confirmation today about their first round playoff schedule for 2009. For a couple of days now, there has been no secret that the Montreal Junior and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies would be facing each other in a best of 7 for the first round in the 2009 playoffs. On Friday, March 13th, the Montreal Juniors got the 1 point they needed to seal the deal and get home ice advantage, for their first playoffs. Below is the schedule for the first round playoffs for the Montreal and Rouyn-Noranda series.

Friday, March 20th at 7.35pm
Saturday, March 21st at 7.35pm
Montreal vs. Rouyn-Noranda
Tuesday, March 24th at 7.30pm
Wednesday, March 25th at 7.30pm
If they play a 5th game

Furthermore, the Montreal Juniors have partnered with Bud Light and Lafleur hot dog to introduce the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoffs with a Tailgate party to remember. On Friday March 20th and on Saturday March 21st, starting at 5pm each night outside the Auditorium, the Tailgate party will be rocking with music, a free to participate slap shot competition, beer and hot dogs. Tickets for the game are available at $15 at the Verdun Auditorium Box Office or on Admission.
