First Place On The Line Saturday Night At Hartman Arena

Saturday night's Indoor Football League (IFL) game between the Wichita Wild and Sioux Falls Storm marks the halfway point in the 2010 season, but the results will have implications far beyond just finishing the first half of the season. The Wild and Storm both come into the game with 5-1 records. The winner will have the inside track on home field advantage throughout the United Conference playoffs.

Wichita's only loss of the season came at the hands of Sioux Falls by a score of 43-34 on March 13. Wichita gave Sioux Falls their only loss on April 3 by winning 44-26 in Sioux Falls. Kickoff for the Central Division Collision is scheduled for 7:05 PM on Saturday at Hartman Arena.

In Wichita's victory over Sioux Falls, Wild star wide receiver Clinton Solomon was held without a catch. The Wild were able to have success running the ball as they racked up 78 yards and four TD's on the ground. The Storm must still focus on Solomon as he comes into the game ranked #1 in the league in receiving yards (437) and receiving TD's (12).

Veteran Storm QB Terrance Bryant is leading the league in completions with 110 and yards with 1011. The Storm rank 9th in the league is scoring averaging 43.7 points per game. The Wild rank 4th in the IFL averaging 50.3 points per game.

The Storm defense is ranked #1 in the league allowing only 149.0 yards per game. The Storm only allows 32.0 points per game, which ranks 4th in the IFL. Wichita's Donta Moore is 3rd in the league in total tackles and played a phenomenal game vs. Omaha recording 8.5 tackles and 1 INT. The Wild are only allowing 27.8 rushing yards per game, which places them 2nd in the league.
