March 3, 2004 - Frontier League (FL)
Richmond Roosters News Release
It wasn't quite 70 degrees, but it wasn't far away, as great weather greeted almost a hundred fans who came out for the first annual Meet The Manager Night presented by O'Charley's Restaurant. Richmond Roosters field manager Chris Mongiardo and players Curt Moenter and Ryan West were on hand to field questions and greet the fans at the brand new Innovation Center in uptown Richmond.

After opening remarks by Roosters president Allen Brady, General Manger
Deanna Beaman gave the fans present a preview of the 2004 season,
including improvements planned at the park. Gently sloping berms for
family fan seating down the right and left field lines, the new suite
for the ultimate in climate controlled baseball fun, as well as new
ticket plans highlighted the exciting things coming up. Chris Mongiardo talked about player signings and moves, while Curt and
Ryan filled in the fans on their winter conditioning routines and off
season activities before signing autographs. O'Charley's brought the good food and good times to the corner as they
fed the crowd and demonstrated why their service is second to none. The
Roosters thank our partner O'Charley's for making our first ever Meet
The Manager Night an extra special night for all of us and all of our fans. Check out our web site (www.RichmondRoosters.com) for the current
signings list for the 2004 season and pictures of the festivities to
kick off our tenth anniversary of Richmond Roosters baseball!
