Kent, October 17, 2008 - The Seattle Thunderbirds launched a redesigned website in early October. One of the new features of the redesigned website is T-Birds TV. The first episode of T-Birds TV is now available on the T-Birds web site at: www.seattlethunderbirds.com .

The first episode takes a behind the scenes look at the installation of the seats at the T-Birds new home, the Kent Events Center. T-Birds Director of Public and Media Relations, Ian Henry, interviewed Mortenson Project Engineer John Baker about the process of installing the seats.

The T-Birds will post a new episode highlighting an aspect of the Kent Events Center every Friday afternoon until the building opens. Future episodes will highlight the installation of the scoreboard, dasher boards and glass. There will also be episodes featuring a locker room tour, suite tour and interviews with building operators and partners. Each episode of T-Birds TV is produced by NK Films and is located just below the WHL scoreboard on the T-Birds home page.

Currently fans are also able to watch highlights of previous games edited together by T-Birds' Hockey Operations Assistant Jeff Caso. The highlights will continue through the season on T-Birds TV.

The T-Birds take on the Tri-City Americans on Friday, October 17, in Kennewick at 7:05 p.m. They are back home on Saturday, October 18, to face the Kelowna Rockets at 7:05 p.m. at KeyArena.
