Wisconsin Rapids Rafters News Release

Wisconsin Rapids, WI - January 28th, 2011. Ladies, ladies, ladies! Step up to the plate on August 4th and get ready to dig for a diamond. The Rafters and Paul Gross jewelers are excited to announce a brand new diamond giveaway promotion for 2011.

This season, the first 400 ladies 18 and older will receive a Rafters and Paul Gross Jewelers ice cream scoop upon entrance to the August 4th contest against the Waterloo Bucks. Following the game, all ladies who received an ice cream scoop will be eligible to participate in the postgame, on-field digging competition for a diamond, courtesy of Paul Gross Jewelers.

The Rafters teamed with Paul Gross Jewelers last season, with Wisconsin Rapids resident Cori Abbott emerging as the lucky winner of a different diamond giveaway promotion. Last year, the first 400 women 18 years or older were given gem stones upon entrance and the woman holding a specially marked stone was the winner of a diamond.

The Rafters want to remind you that Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Make sure to stop into Paul Gross Jewelers to pick out a gift for that special person in your life!
