Fireworks Shows for 2013 Season Announced

Wisconsin Rapids, WI-March 15, 2013. Believe it or not, winter will turn into spring and summer will be rapidly approaching. With that in mind, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters have announced four post-game fireworks shows for the upcoming 2013 season.

On Saturday, June 8th the Rafters will host the Lakeshore Chinooks at 6:05 p.m. Gates will open at 5:05 p.m. for the game and be sure to stick around following the game as Bull's Eye Credit Union sponsors the first fireworks spectacular of the 2013 season.

On Saturday, June 29th, in the first match-up of a three game wrap around series against defending Northwoods League Champions the La Crosse Loggers, Budweiser will be sponsoring post game fireworks. Following the game, and as soon as darkness permits, the fireworks show will begin. Game time is 6:05 p.m. and gates will open at 5:05 p.m. for the game.

Help the Rafters and Marshfield Clinic kick-off Independence Day early by attending the Wednesday, July 3rd game between the Rafters and the Green Bay Bullfrogs. Gates will open at 6:05 p.m. for the 7:05 p.m. game, and following the game fans will enjoy a fireworks extravaganza brought to you by Marshfield Clinic, to start the Fourth of July festivities.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will close their season with a two game series against the Battle Creek Bombers. Saturday, August 10th will kick-off fan appreciation weekend as the Rafters take on the Bombers at 6:05 p.m. Following the game Advanced Disposal will host the final fireworks spectacular of the 2013 season.

Tickets for these special fireworks night are included in each one of our 9-game packages for the 2013 season which are currently on sale at the Rafters Office. Single game tickets for this season will go on sale beginning Saturday, April 27th at 9 a.m.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are members of the 16-team summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Rafters will play a 70 game schedule with 35 home games in 2013. Opening Day at historic Witter Field is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th at 7:05 pm against the Lakeshore Chinooks.
