FireWolves Knock off Warriors 13-8
March 8, 2024 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Vancouver Warriors News Release
ALBANY NY - A four-goal run midway through the fourth quarter propelled the Albany Firewolves to a 13-8 victory over the Vancouver Warriors in upstate New York.
The Warriors kept one of the league's top scoring teams off the scoresheet for the entire first quarter, but a three goal-spurt put the Wolves up early in the second quarter and they managed to hold off the Warriors for much of the game, with Vancouver playing tight defense and keeping it close until the final fifteen minutes.
Keegan Bal and Adam Charalambides led the Vancouver attack on this night, with Bal scoring a team-high four goals and Charalambides clicking on four assists, with both players finishing the night with five points. The Warriors also saw Kyle Killen, Brad McCulley and rookie Owen Grant pop the twine in a losing effort.
Aden Walsh turned aside 37 shots between the pipes for the Warriors.
