Florida Firecats News Release
The Florida Firecat defense dominated early and late, allowing the offense to take over the game in the fourth quarter as Florida defeated the Daytona Beach ThunderBirds 41-15 Saturday night before 4,021 at Germain Arena.
Both teams struggled to put points on the board in the first half as Florida went to the locker room with a 13-6 lead.
In the second half, the Firecats offense heated up as Chris Wallace threw three touchdown passes to three different receivers. From there, it was all about the Florida defense.
