
Firebirds Trade Picks with Wolves Ahead of OHL Priority Selection this Weekend

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds announced today that they have made a trade with the Sudbury Wolves ahead of this weekend's OHL Priority Selection.
The Firebirds will receive a 2023 3rd-round pick (Originally owned by Sarnia), a 2024 5th-round pick (Originally owned by Sarnia), a 2024 11th-round pick (Sudbury) and a 2025 6th-round pick (Originally owned by Windsor).
In return, they will be sending a 2023 5th-round pick (Originally owned by Bratnford), a 2023 12th-round pick (Originally owned by Niagara), and a 2026 2nd-round pick (Flint).
The 2023 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore, takes place on Friday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. ET for rounds 1-3 and Saturday, April 22 beginning at 9:00 a.m. for rounds 4-15. All 15 rounds of the draft will be available to be streamed on CHL TV.
