Finale in New Jersey Rained Out
July 16, 2023 - Frontier League (FL)
Schaumburg Boomers News Release
PATERSON, NJ - The Schaumburg Boomers and New Jersey Jackals were rained out on Sunday afternoon. The game will not be made up as the teams do not play again in 2023. As a result, the Boomers will complete the regular season with 95 contests for the first time in team history. The weekend was filled with weather as Friday's contest ended in the sixth inning and Saturday's game started over an hour late.
The Boomers (31-21) travel to Joliet to continue the six-game roadtrip on Tuesday night at 6:35pm. The team returns home on July 21. Visit boomersbaseball.com to secure your tickets to a game in the second part of the season before summer is gone or call 847-461-3695 to ensure you don't miss out on the fun.
