Fighting Saints to Take on Roughriders Tonight in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - One night after gaining one standings point with an overtime loss to Team USA in Dubuque, the Fighting Saints will brave the snow as they head to Cedar Rapids to take on the RoughRiders. The Saints have won each of their four games against Cedar Rapids this season, with one victory coming in overtime and one in a shootout. Tonight's game will be the second meeting of the year in Cedar Rapids between the two teams.

After starting the season with a 7-2-2 record, the RoughRiders have since compiled a 6-10-5 mark, and slipped to sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Nick Saracino leads the way with 31 points for Cedar Rapids, and has scored nine of those points over the course of the team's last five games. Davey Middleton, who has scored twelve points this season, has added seven points in that same span.

The Fighting Saints will return home tomorrow night, hosting the Indiana Ice in what will be an important conference matchup for both teams. The Fighting Saints will make their longest road trip of the season next weekend, travelling to Youngstown for a Friday night game, followed by a trip to Ann Arbor to play Team USA and a matchup in Muskegon on Sunday.
