Fifth Third Field to Open Gates Early for Reds Game

DAYTON, OH --- The Dayton Dragons are pleased to announce that the gates to Fifth Third Field will open at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2007, giving fans with game tickets the opportunity to see the Cincinnati Reds and Florida Marlins take batting practice.

"While batting practice is part of the daily routine for the players, we feel that the fans will enjoy this opportunity to see the players during BP," said Dragons President Robert Murphy. "By opening up Fifth Third Field at 11:30, fans will get to see both teams prepare for the game."

Ticket holders can enter Fifth Third Field beginning at 11:30 a.m., coinciding with the start of the Cincinnati Reds batting practice. The Reds will conclude at 12:30 p.m. as the Florida Marlins will take the field for batting practice until 1:15 p.m.

11:30 a.m. Stadium Gates Open

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cincinnati Reds Batting Practice

12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Florida Marlins Batting Practice

2:05 p.m. Approximate Time of First Pitch

The Dragons are also happy to announce that Hollywood Records recording artist Gran Bel Fisher will sing the national anthem before the game. Fisher has been recently nominated as one of Yahoo!
