INDIANAPOLIS - An Evening with Kelsey Mitchell will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, at Woodlawn Community Center in Cincinnati (10050 Woodlawn Blvd.) where the local star learned the game of basketball and honed her skills along her path to the WNBA. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Conducted as part of the Indiana Fever's 20 Towns for 20 Seasons community tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise, An Evening with Kelsey Mitchell will include an hour-long program with a question-and-answer session, photos, autographs and prizes. Presentations are expected to involve her alma mater, Princeton High School, and the Woodlawn Community Center, itself.

The Fever's 20 Towns for 20 Seasons tour will visit 20 locations surrounding the team's home in Indianapolis. The first 20 guests at each event receive a commemorative t-shirt and a pair of complimentary tickets to the Fever's home-opening game on June 1 against the New York Liberty.

Mitchell, an Ohio State graduate who begins her second WNBA season when training camp opens Sunday, May 5, recently completed her first pro season overseas in Turkey. She was selected No. 2 overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Fever and finished her rookie campaign with 70 3-pointers, the most by a WNBA rookie since 2002. Her 12.7 points per game were the second-most ever by a Fever rookie, aided by a season-high 26 points on three occasions.
