FCC's Ledesma Earns Spot on USL Team of the Week

CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma has been voted to the United Soccer League's Team of the Week for Week 14 after a standout effort in FCC's 4-0 win over the Richmond Kickers. This is Ledesma's fifth Team of the Week inclusion this season.

The creative Argentine attacker netted two goals - his second brace of the season - to lead the Orange and Blue to their third four-goal game of the season. Ledesma got FCC on the board in the eighth minute with his sixth goal of the season, before adding his seventh of the campaign midway through the second half. Ledesma did not play in the team's Wednesday contest, a 2-2 draw against Bethlehem Steel FC.

On the season, Ledesma is leads the USL in assists with seven, and his seven goals are tied for fourth in the league. He is also tied for 11th in the league in chances created with 27.

FC Cincinnati (9-3-3, 30 pts.) currently leads the USL Eastern Conference by six points as it enters a bye weekend this week.

After a limited training schedule this week, FC Cincinnati returns to action on Wednesday, June 27, when the team travels to face Toronto FC II at BMO Field for the first of two games that week. First kick is scheduled for 8 p.m. and the match will be televised on CW Cincinnati and streamed on ESPN+.
