FC Cincinnati News Release

FCC takes on Eastern Conference leader, Louisville City FC, this Saturday as the two teams continue the series for the River Cities Cup.

FCC is third with 27 points and is one point behind New York City Red Bulls II and seven points behind LouCity, which has played two more games than FCC and NYCRBII.

The Orange and Blue's last USL loss came at the hands of Louisville on Apr. 16.

The contest, slated to start at 7:30 p.m., will be broadcast on ESPN3 and WSTR.

DELBRIDGE, STEVENSON RECEIVE USL ACCOLADES

Harrisbon Delbridge and Eric Stevenson were both first-time honorees on the USL's Team of the Week after lifting FCC to a 2-1, come-from-behind win over Toronto FC II.

Delbridge headed in the tying goal to erase a 1-0 deficit in the 62nd minute.

Stevenson scored less than two minutes later, working a two-man game with Corben Bone and putting the ball in the back of the net for the eventual game-winner at 62:49.

With Delbridge's tally, FCC now has 10 players who have totaled at least one goal.

Stevenson has logged a point in two straight contests after assisting on a Sean Okoli goal against Montreal FC.

EMERGENCE OF STEVENSON

Eric Stevenson, who underwent hip surgey, has emerged for FCC.

Working his way into the lineup, the Columbus, OH native has made the start in four of the last five matches.

Stevenson, who put away the game winner last week, has a pair of goals and an asssist for five points in 10 games played.

Said Stevenson, "I had hip surgery on both hips. John [Harkes] gave me a second chance coming to play here. Everything around the organization is unbelievable. It has been a whole process for me coming back. I haven't had any setbacks so far so that has been awesome. I am really happy overall."

FCC SEES THIRD-HIGHEST ATTENDANCE

19,112 fans came out to see the club take on Toronto FC II last Saturday.

The attendance was the third-highest for the expansion franchise this year with FCC seeing over 20,000 fans against Louisville City FC (20,497) and Pittsburgh (23,375) earlier this year.

In USL-only matches, FCC is averaging over 16,000 a game and has seen 130,602 come through the Nippert Stadium gates to date.

STARTING CONTRIBUTION

Fourteen players and nearly every starter for FCC have recorded at least one point.

Delbridge became the latest member of the initial XI following his goal last week.

Sean Okoli tops the squad and is tied for fifth in the league with seven goals and is sixth with 15 points.

Andrew Wiedeman is second with seven points on three goals and an assist.

It was the second time as Edwards logged the opening goal aginast FCC in the series opener in Toronto.

However, history repeated itself as FCC scored twice in the second half to erase the one-goal deficit and collect a 2-1 victory for the second time against TFCII.

LOUISVILLE CITY FC

LouCity is led by Jon Chandler Hoffman, who has 10 goals and 20 points.
