FC Cincinnati Begins 2020 Ticket Renewal Process Monday
August 1, 2019 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati will open their 2020 season ticket renewal process on Monday, leading fans into its second season in Major League Soccer and the club's final year at historic Nippert Stadium.
The club has more than 20,000 season tickets for the 2019 season, putting the club fourth in MLS among season ticket sales this year. Additionally, the figure ranks as the third most among all MLS expansion teams' first-year sales behind Atlanta in 2017 and Seattle in 2009.

On Monday at 9 a.m. ET, the renewal period will open on the club's primary ticket platform provider, SeatGeek. More information about the club's transition to SeatGeek and how it will benefit FC Cincinnati Season Ticket Members and fans is available at fccincinnati.com/seatgeek.
Current Season Ticket Members have already received information via email about 2020 pricing and other seating adjustments the club has made for 2020. Among the adjustments for next season are the shift to reserved seating in all lower-bowl sections between 101 and 127, eliminating general admission seating in sections 113-115, which led to poor fan experiences and congested seating.
The renewal period will close on Friday, Aug. 30, at which time any un-renewed season seats will be released into the Seat Improvement Process, which will begin in early September.
Fans are encouraged to renew early to ensure that they retain their current ticket priority, and are able to get in line for any potential seat upgrades or to adjust seats on their account. Ticket priority is used for all FCC events and sales, and will be the basis for sales into the new West End Stadium ahead of its opening at the start of the 2021 season. Those who are Season Ticket Members for the 2020 will have the best position for seating opportunities in West End Stadium when sales open.
New for the 2020 renewal process: the earlier fans renew, the more days they'll be eligible to win from among a host of prizes that will be awarded daily through Aug. 30.
Among the prizes and amenities available to win during the renewal period are autographed items, club and partner gift cards, jerseys, exclusive tour experiences - including the Mercy Health Training Center - and upgraded ticket and game day experiences.
Additionally, Season Ticket Members can either complete payment on their accounts in full or initiate a six-month payment plan.
Fans who are not current Season Ticket Members are able to lock in ticket priority and reserve a spot in line to select season seats with a $50 deposit. The deposit allows access to purchase as many season tickets as desired for the 2020 season, and the deposit will be applied to the full cost of 2020 season tickets.
The FCC Ticket Sales and Service staff are available for questions or assistance in the club's downtown offices (14 East Fourth St.) and via the phone at 513-977-KICK (5425) from 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily. Fans who want personal one-on-one assistance are encouraged to call the office before coming in to ensure timely support.
Following the four-week renewals window, all unrenewed accounts will have their seats dropped. The seat selection process will start in early September and phone appointments will be scheduled by ticket priority.
This season, FC Cincinnati is currently averaging 27,750 fans per game at Nippert Stadium, the third-highest per-game mark in MLS, behind Atlanta United FC (51,662) and Seattle Sounds FC (39,839). The club's current seating capacity at Nippert Stadium is 32,250 in 2019.
