HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - FC Cincinnati 2 dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting Inter Miami CF II Saturday afternoon at NKU Soccer Stadium.

With the loss, FCC 2 drop to 1-3-0 (3 points) in MLS NEXT Pro competition. Miami improved to 3-1-1 (10 points) to improve to first place in the Eastern Conference following the result.

The best chance for the Orange and Blue came from the spot, when in the 21st minute Nicque Daley was taken down in the box to set up a penalty kick for FCC 2. Avionne Flanagan's penalty would be saved a minute later, keeping the game scoreless.

Tyler Bagley scored the game-winner for Inter Miami in the 39th minute.

FC Cincinnati Academy products Marcel Ruszel and Daniel Samways made their season and professional debuts Saturday, while Daley made his debut with the Orange and Blue.

FC Cincinnati 2 return to action Saturday, April 30 for a rematch with Toronto FC II. Kickoff from BMO Field is set for 7 p.m.
