
Fayetteville's Zach Carriveau Named Easton Player of the Month

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced defenseman Zach Carriveau of the Fayetteville FireAntz is the Easton Player of the Month for October/November.
Carriveau helped lead the FireAntz to an 8-2 record and the best winning percentage (.800) in the league through November. On the ice, Carriveau finished with two goals and nine assists in 10 games, recording points in all but two games, and was +7. He is tied for first in scoring by a defenseman and is second in assists, while his strong defensive play has helped Fayetteville to the top road (95.0%) and overall (88.1%) penalty killing record.
Now in his fifth professional season, the Hollis, ME native played Junior A hockey with the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League. In 2010-11, Carriveau led all defensemen in scoring with 50 points (18g, 32a) and was twice named to the league's All-Star team.
