FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed RHP Adam Schrader, released LHP Matt Dwyer and placed RHP Darren Byrd and RHP Nick Fellman on the seven-day disabled list, the Northern League club announced today. Schrader will be in uniform tonight as the RedHawks open a four-game series with the Schaumburg Flyers at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo at 7:02 p.m.

Schrader, 23, completed his college career at Southwest Minnesota State University this spring. He was 5-4 with a 3.28 ERA in 14 games (12 starts) for the Mustangs in 2010. He pitched 74.0 innings and allowed 33 runs (27 earned) on 66 hits. Schrader struck out 62 batters and walked 23.

Schrader leaves SMSU, an NCAA Division II school, as the all-time leader in strikeouts (244) and games started. In his career, he was 20-17 with a 4.56 ERA in 54 games (48 starts). Schrader struck out 244 batters and walked 127 in 262.2 innings pitched.

Dwyer was signed by the RedHawks on Friday while the team was in Rockford. He appeared in Friday's game and allowed one hit and struck out two batters in 1.0 inning of work.

Fellman is on the Northern League's seven-day disabled list, retroactive to May 30. Byrd is on the seven-day disabled list retroactive to June 3.
