
Fans told to arrive early for Dynamo playoff game

HOUSTON, TX (Friday, November 9, 2007) - With a near sellout crowd expected for the Dynamo's Western Conference Final against the Kansas City Wizards, the Houston Dynamo is advising fans to take measures to traffic and parking delays before tomorrow's contest.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for tomorrow's game. Parking at Robertson Stadium will open at 3:30 p.m. Extra parking signage will be placed throughout the University of Houston campus, to help improve the flow of traffic. Stadium gates will open 2 hours before kickoff, at 5:30 p.m.
Dynamo fans that have already purchased seats for this Saturday's game are encouraged to avoid the long lines at the Advance Purchase Will Call Window by using the account manager service at the team website, www.houstondynamo.com. The service is titled "Friday Night Will Call" on the main page and it allows fans to print their tickets at home. Fans simply need to access the account manager service, provide their account number and password or PIN number, click on the "email your tickets" option, and follow further instructions. For assistance, fans may call the Houston Dynamo at 713-276-7500.
For those fans with access to the Aztec VIP tent, this will open at 5:30 p.m., with service starting at 6:00 p.m. The Amigo Energy SoccerFest, the team's interactive area where fans can enjoy a variety of soccer related activities, will open at 5:00 p.m.
Other odds and ends about tomorrows' game:
Rally Towels will be distributed to the first 10,000 fans in attendance. The Rally Towels are presented by HSBC Credit Center.
Carlos González Magallón, Consul General of Mexico, will be present as the Dynamo will make a donation to the relief fund to help the victims in Tabasco, Mexico. He will be joined by Dynamo President and General Manager, Oliver Luck, and a representative from the American Red Cross.
Some rain is expected in the Houston area on Saturday. Major League Soccer games are played rain or shine.
