Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release

MUSKEGON, MI - This Saturday night the Muskegon Lumberjacks are excited to welcome back Bobby Kaiser, a fan favorite in Muskegon who spent 3 seasons as a Lumberjack from 2015-2018 to drop a ceremonial faceoff.

Kaiser was an integral part of establishing the grit fans are used to seeing the Lumberjacks play with. Never afraid of going to the dirty areas he had a tenacity in his game that invoked fear into away teams coming to Muskegon, and helped the Jacks to playoff runs in the 2016-17, and 2017-18 seasons.

Following his time as a Lumberjack Kaiser played NCAA Division I Hockey at The University of Massachusetts Amherst where he and other former Lumberjacks Marc Del Gaizo, Anthony Del Gaizo, and Ty Farmer captured an NCAA National Championship in 2021.

Muskegon fans adored Kaiser for his physicality, and ability to drop the gloves across from anybody earning him the nickname "The Big Rig".

Kaiser returns to Trinity Health Arena on Saturday night and will be honored with a ceremonial puck drop ahead of the Jacks matchup against the Waterloo Black Hawks on Video Game Night.
