NEW LONDON, C.T. (July 17, 2002)- Friday, July 19th, when the Mohegan Wolves host the Rochester Brigade for the final home game of the inaugural 2002 campaign the Mohegan Wolves want to thank those loyal fans who have supported the team through out the 2002 season.
The last game has been deemed "Fan Appreciation Night" with huge give-a-ways and outstanding prizes for those in attendance.
The 1st 1,000 children and young adults in attendance will receive a free football sponsored by the United States Army. Three lucky fans will again have the opportunity to win a security system courtesy of ADT security services. The fans will have to kick a 13-yard field goal to win. Those in attendance will also have their hands tested when hundreds of Frisbees will be tossed into the stands during various stoppages in play, compliments of ADT. The game will also feature the grand finale's of two season long promotions: The Harley Kick in which an 883 Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle from New London County Motorcycles can be won as well as the popular "fling-a-football" promotion in which a deluxe hot tub courtesy of Treats Spa of Uncasville can be attained. Each promotion will be decided by a 43-yard field goal attempt for two lucky fans.
