Fan Appreciation Night September 5th

Tampa, FL - On Saturday, September 5th the Tampa Yankees will host their annual Fan Appreciation Night as they play the Lakeland Flying Tigers at 6:00 pm at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The event is sponsored by OnDeck and Bill Currie Ford. The gates will open to all fans at 4:30 pm.

The first 500 fans to arrive at the game will receive a Tampa Yankees Brett Gardner Bobble Legs Giveaway. Gardner was an outfielder for the Tampa Yankees in 2006, where he was a Florida State League All Star, batting .323 in 63 games with 22 RBIs. He was 3rd in the League in batting average and led the league in stolen bases with 30 before his promotion to Double-A.

In the Plaza at Steinbrenner Field, there will be a Pre-Game Food Truck Rally starting at 4:30PM. The participating food trucks will be Sarge's BBQ, Steveorino's Italian Favorites, Kona Ice of Tampa, Disco Donuts, Cluckz Chicken, The Tasty Tortilla and American Weiner. Before the game, kids will have the opportunity to run the bases from 5-5:15 pm & player autographs will be given on the concourse from 5:10-5:30 pm. Fans will also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes every half inning in appreciation for their support throughout the 2015 season and enjoy a fireworks display after the game, courtesy of Sonny's BBQ.

In addition to Fan Appreciation Night, September 5th will be a Friends & Family Saturday sponsored by Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. Family 4-Packs will be available for $38 and include four reserved tickets, hot dogs, bags of chips, sodas, TY caps and two passes to Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. Individual tickets are $4 for general admission and $6 for reserved seating and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office.
