FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons will play three pre-season games - two against a brand new Highway 99 rival and one against a long-time Central Valley nemesis - on Oct. 12, Oct. 15, and Oct. 16 to help them prepare for the 2005-06 ECHL regular season.

The Falcons will host a pair of pre-season games against the Stockton Thunder at Gateway Ice Center on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 16, at 5 p.m. General admission tickets cost $5 and will be sold at the door for both games. Falcons season ticket holders will receive free admission to the game on the 12th.

Gateway Ice Center, the Falcons' official practice facility, is located at 2473 N. Marks Ave., just west of Highway 99 at the Clinton Exit. The Falcons are tentatively scheduled to open training camp on Oct. 8, while their first regular season game is Oct. 21 against the Victoria Salmon Kings at Save Mart Center.

Falcons season tickets are currently available. Both full season packages (36 games) and 24-game packages include seats to the 2006 Bud Light ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition to be held at Save Mart Center on Jan. 24 and 25.
