
Falcons to play Charity Softball in Windsor Locks, CT

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons continue their "BOLTS ARE IN" Summer Tour with a charity softball game on Tuesday, July 20th at Veteran's Memorial Field in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The Falcons will take on a team from the Transportation and Security Administration from Bradley International Airport. Game time is 6:30 p.m. Former Falcons players and Screech, the team mascot, will participate.
Everyone attending the event will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a trip to Tampa to see the Falcons new NHL affiliate, the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning, next season. Donations will be accepted to benefit Springfield Falcons Charities, which has provided over $375,000 in grants to various children related charities since its inception.
Directions to Veteran's Memorial Field from Springfield are as follows:
Take Route 91 South
Take Exit 40 for Bradley International Airport â Route 20
Take first exit for Old County Road and turn right at end of ramp
At first stop sign, turn right onto Halfway House Road
Go to end of road (second stop sign) and turn right onto Southwest Avenue
Veteran's Memorial Park will be on the left after approximately ¼ mile
