
Falcons Sign Steven Delisle

Springfield, MA - Today the Springfield Falcons announced defenseman Steven Delisle has been signed to a one-year American Hockey League contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. The 25-year-old Delisle registered 2-13-15 and 133 penalty minutes (PIM) in 62 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms last season. The 6-foot-6, 209-pound native of Levis, QC has totaled 3- 17-20 and 223 PIM in 122 career AHL games with the (Adirondack) Phantoms, Connecticut Whale and a six-game stint with the Falcons in 2011-12. Delisle was originally drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the fourth round (107th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
