Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons, AHL affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced their promotional schedule for the 2012-2013 season on Thursday.
"This season's promotional schedule is geared around having a variety of events during Falcons games that provide family-oriented entertainment and at the same time are driven around generating awareness of various community-related programs," Falcons Marketing and Promotions Coordinator Sarah Pompea said. "We have also worked to bring in new events this season that will make the experience of attending a Falcons game better than ever."
The club's promotional events will kick off with Opening Night sponsored by Amica Insurance on Saturday, Oct. 13, when the Falcons commence the 2012-2013 season against the St. John's IceCaps.
