
Extreme well represented on All-Star ballot

Twenty-four members of the Bloomington Extreme appear on the ballot for the inaugural Casey's United Indoor Football All-Star Classic on Aug. 18 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, league officials announced Friday (July 6).
The teams for the 7:05 p.m. game, which will pit players from the Eastern Conference against their counterparts from the Western Conference, will be selected by a vote of the fans who signed up for the UIF news letters, coaches and media.
Ballots must be completed by 5 p.m. Monday, July 16, to be valid. The all-star teams will be announced Wednesday, July 18.
Extreme players on the ballot on offense include quarterback Dusty Burk; running backs Rocky Harvey and Eric Powell; wide receivers Reggie Gray, Glenn Johnson and James Walton; linemen Eric D. Johnson, Brett Tobin, Chad Walker and Luke Wickman.
Defensive players are linemen Eric M. Johnson, Rachman Crable, Quince Holman and Martin Wilson; linebackers Winston Taylor and Jamar Leath; defensive backs Lamar Baker, Mike Crumpler, Dion Brown, Terrill Mayberry and Dorian Pitts.
Special team players include James Temple; kicker Peter Christofilakos and return man Shatone Powers.
