Extreme Sign Kicker Peter Christofilakos, OL Michael Champaign, And OL John Mobley

Bloomington, IL (December 12, 2008) - Bloomington Extreme are proud to announce three new players signed on for the 2009 season.

"With the new league of 19 teams, it is going to be a very competitive season. The quality of the players is much higher than years before," Head Coach Kenton Carr explains. "This is the best recruiting we have had going into our fourth year."

Peter Christofilakos, Michael Champaign and John Mobley were all signed on to play for the Extreme in the upcoming 2009 season.

"Peter is the best kicker in the league, and he is very loyal to his team," Head Coach Carr said.

Kicker Peter Christofilakos (5'10", 185) is a former University of Illinois player. Christofilakos is a veteran to the Extreme team. He has been a part of the Extreme for three years and has been made captain for the 2009 season.

OL Michael Champaign (6'8", 315) played football for Winston-Salem State University. Champaign has played indoor football before, so he has plenty of experience. He has played for the New Mexico Wildcats in the AIF and is making his first appearance in the IFL.

OL John Mobley (6'5", 300) also played football for Winston-Salem State University. Mobley has played for the Billing Outlaws, so he has indoor football experience.

"Having these two players on the offensive line will add great depth at that position," Head Coach Carr said.

"The coaching staff has been working very hard in the off season with our recruiting. We are very excited with the new and returning players that we have for this season," Head Coach Carr stated. "We are happy to have coaches back from last year, along with new coaches joining our team to help us become the best in the league!"
