Extreme Sign Division III Record Breaking QB Josh Vogelbach, WR Keith Smith and OL Lucian Scott

Bloomington, IL (January 7, 2009) - The Bloomington Extreme are proud to announce three more players that have been signed to play in the upcoming 2009 season.

QB Josh Vogelbach played football for Guilford College. Vogelbach is a Division III record holder. He has 17 division and three national records. Vogelbach has 13,591 passing yards in his career. He has 2,002 pass attempts and 1,189 completions. Vogelbach once threw 72 passes in a game.

"I don't care what level of football, division one, two, or three, these numbers are amazing. Once this kid learns the indoor game he could be a player," Head Coach Kenton Carr said. "Eventually he can be a top notch player."

WR Keith Smith played indoor football for the LA Swashbucklers and the Alaska Wild. He has three years of football experience. Smith is a WR who can also play QB.

"Smith is a wide receiver who is very athletic," Head Coach Carr said.

OL Lucian Scott played college football for Central St. University. He has had more than five years of indoor football experience.

"Scott brings versatility to the line because he can play tackle or center," Head Coach Carr said.
