Bloomington Extreme News Release
BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme are ready for their 2010 training camp. This year's camp will commence Sunday, Feb. 21 and run through Friday, Feb. 26. At the conclusion of the camp, the Extreme will host the Cincinnati Commando's of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) in a scrimmage.
The scrimmage, which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Game Time Gym, is open and free to the public. The game will go from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Extreme head coach, Kenton Carr, will use the scrimmage to help trim his roster from 45 to the final 30.
"The scrimmage will be a good opportunity for us to see where we are at," Carr said. "This year's talent is unreal, this will be the toughest camp we've had since I've been here."
