Extreme Adds Two Rookies to Roster

BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme Indoor Football Team is pleased to announce the signings of Offensive Lineman, Jason Lato and Wide Receiver, Jeramie Gray for the 2011 season.

Jason Lato, 6'3" 290 lbs., Offensive Lineman from University of Wisconsin - Stout has signed a contract to play for the Extreme in 2011. Lato started 22 games and played in 25 games during his career at UW-Stout. As a senior in 2010, Lato was a WIAC (Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Conference selection He was a three-time all-conference selection and team captain in high school in Thorp, WI.

Jeramie Gray, 5'10" 175 lbs., Wide Receiver from Indiana State University has signed a contract to join the Extreme for the 2011 season. Gray played 15 games at Indiana State and recorded 25 receptions, good for 263 yards, and 1 touchdown. Gray also returned 16 kickoffs for 297 yards (18.6 avg.). As a senior at Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, IN, Gray was the conference player of the year leading the conference in both rushing and receiving yards.

"Jason is a powerful blocker with unlimited ability," states Head Coach Mike Murray. "He has good feet for a big man and has a lot of untapped potential. Jeramie is very quick with great hands. Both are great additions to our roster."

With these two signings, the Extreme roster now stands at 43 players announced as part of the 2011 training camp roster. IFL training camp rosters consist of 45 players.

The Bloomington Extreme will open training camp Sunday, February 13, 2011 and kick off the season two weeks later, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum against the Richmond Revolution with a 3:05 pm start time.
