Express schedule first open tryout

Newark, NJ. The ABA Newark Express will hold its first Open Tryout Camp for the 2006-2007 season on Saturday, June 10th at 1030am. "After a successful season," said co-owner Marsha Blount," we are looking for players who continue to fit our style of play and can help advance us to the next level. If you possess speed, athleticism, toughness, scoring ability and knowledge of the game..jump on board on June 10th."
Hopefuls will be competing for an opportunity to attend the 2006-2007 Newark Express Training Camp. The camp will include those who have been invited from the tryout and returning veterans. Jacqui Halyard, Express co-owner, added, "Our goal for the upcoming season is to bring a championship to the City of Newark. We'll provide local and national exposure opportunities for our players, staff and coaches. We will continue to bring high-scoring, exciting, fun-filled family entertainment at affordable prices to the City of Newark."
Registration begins at 930am sharp. Applicants should be prepared for a complete evaluation of their professionalism as well as their basketball knowledge and ability.
