Published on May 11, 2006 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Los Angeles, CA. Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK announced that this week's show will focus on fan emails from ABA fans and supporters. The one-hour weekly radio program can be heard at www.abalive.com at 3pm EST.
Pearson is also excited to focus this week's show on the League Owners Meeting in Chicago next month. "The ideas that will be shared there by owners and the league should provide great momentum heading into the 2006-2007 season," said Pearson. We've had a preview of discussions about new and creative rules, international initiatives, travel concepts, community programs and other things - and it appears that the ABA will be more exciting than ever."
The weekly "Ask the CEO" segment will include emails from ABA CEO Joe Newman. To email Joe Newman, send emails to joenewman@abalive.com or to email the show use abalivetalk@aol.com or visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
