Roanoke Express News Release
Roanoke, VA- The Roanoke Express have announced that they have retained the services of equipment manager Paul Camelio and medical trainer Rick Hanlon for the 2002-2003 season. Both men played a key role in keeping the Express dressing room running smoothly last year.
Camelio, a Rochester, NY native, will be entering his fourth season with the Express. "Paul is a hard working kid who loves the game of hockey", said Head Coach Perry Florio. "Paul is a big part of our family here and like the players, he is working very hard to move up to the next level. He is dependable and trustworthy helps to make our locker room a very professional one".
Hanlon is a St. Louis, MO native and will be entering his second full season with the Express. Head Coach Perry Florio is excited to keep the core of his staff in tact; "Rusty stepped in at the last minute last year and didn't miss a beat. He kept the players healthy but he was also very aggressive in rehabbing the injured ones. He is very smart in diagnosing injuries and he too is very dependable".
The Express open their 2002-2003 home slate on October 18 vs. the Greensboro Generals.
