Chilliwack Bruins News Release
The Western Hockey League today held an Expansion Draft for the League's newest member club, the Chilliwack Bruins.
Players born in 1990 and 1991 were exempt from the draft. The Bruins were able to select one player from each team with the exception of the Kamloops Blazers, Medicine Hat Tigers, Portland Winter Hawks and Vancouver Giants - teams which had already dealt players to the Bruins. The Bruins were able to select three players from the Tri City Americans.
