Everything You Need to Know About the 2023-24 Petes Home Opener

(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, September 28, the Peterborough Petes will raise their 2023 OHL Championship Banner to the rafters of the PMC when they host the Kingston Frontenacs to kick off the 2023-24 season. Puck Drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

All fans in attendance for the game will receive a Limited Edition 2023 OHL Champions Rally Towel to complete their collection of towels from the 2023 playoffs. The rally towels are presented by Ricart and include the Petes official 2023 OHL Championship picture.

Fans are asked to be in their seats at 6:50 p.m. as the opening ceremony will begin earlier than usual. During the ceremony, fans can expect video board content, full team introductions, a 2023 playoff recap, and the raising of the 2023 Eastern Conference and Ontario Hockey League Championship banners. Tomorrow's pregame ceremony will also feature a special guest from last year's team.

Tickets for tomorrow's game are currently sold-out, but fans can monitor the Petes Twitter and Facebook pages for any last minute releases throughout the day. Tomorrow's Petes 50/50 draw in support of the Peterborough Minor Hockey Council is now live with a minimum $5,000 jackpot being given away during tomorrow's game. Tickets for the draw can be purchased online, or in person at the game.

The Petes are back in action for their 2023-24 season opener on Thursday, September 28 when they host the Kingston Frontenacs at the PMC. The Petes will be raising their 2023 OHL Championship banner before the game. Tickets are currently sold-out, but fans can follow along on YourTV and Freq 90.5.
