Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Dorados and BMP Radio today announced that all 16 Dorados games during the 2007 arenafootball2 season will be carried live on Jammin' 104.9/95.3 FM.
The Dorados kick off 2007 on the road at Corpus Christi on April 7, and open up the home half of the season vs. Laredo on April 14. Games at Obra Homes Field inside Dodge Arena begin at 7:30 p.m.
"Having our games on the FM side of the dial means the clarity of the game will be improved, and being on Jammin' means fans throughout the Valley can keep up with every Dorados game as it happens," said Dorados General Manager Grant Buckborough.
Broadcasts will feature a 15-minute pre-game including interviews with Dorados Head Coach Marty Hammond and players. Halftime will feature highlights and interviews with players and other notable people in the Arena Football and af2 family. The post game show will feature game highlights and when possible, comments from the coaching staff.
The Dorados hope to find a new home for the Indoor War Report, coach Hammond's weekly segment that previously ran on ESPN Radio 1240's Sportsline.
Rich Bocchini returns for his second season as the lead play-by-play voice of Dorados action. Additional broadcast team members will be announced at a later time.
