SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs and Everett Silvertips will meet again on Saturday after a 4-1 Everett win at Spokane Arena on Friday. Adam Beckman scored Spokane's only goal as they couldn't climb back from an early 2-0 deficit.

Everett came out buzzing in the first period, scoring twice in the first 10 minutes. Robbie Holmes potted his second in as many nights at 6:21 to make it 1-0 for Everett. Zack Andrusiak added on with a power play goal at 9:47 to extend the Silvertips' lead to two goals.

Beckman cut the Everett lead in half with 1:07 left in the first, chipping a power play goal past goaltender Dustin Wolf for his fifth of the playoffs.

The Silvertips responded as Gage Goncalves found team captain Connor Dewar unmarked in front for Dewar's first of the series, making it 3-1 Everett into the second intermission.

The third period was scoreless until late as the Chiefs attempted to mount the comeback. What appeared to be a goal for forward Riley Woods was disallowed due to incidental contact with the goaltender before Dewar was able to put the puck into an empty net late for his second of the night.

Spokane finished the game 1-for-3 on the power play and 4-for-5 on the penalty kill. Bailey Brkin started in goal and made 23 saves on 26 shots faced while Wolf turned aside 27 of 28.
