Estero, FL- Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that defenseman Anthony Aiello has been traded to the Stockton Thunder for future considerations.

Aiello, who is currently on the 7-day IR, appeared in just three games with the ‘Blades this season. He was held scoreless and registered four minutes in penalties. The Braintree, Massachusetts native started the year on the injured list with a broken jaw.

Aiello won a national title at Boston College in 2008 as the Eagles knocked off Notre Dame's Fighting Irish. In 132 games at BC, the 2005 Minnesota Wild draft pick scored five goals and 35 points with 142 penalty minutes.

Florida Everblades Hockey - Serious Hockey...Serious Fun! The Everblades continue their seven-game road trip tomorrow night with their final meeting of the season with the Toledo Walleye. The Everblades finish up the trip in Cincinnati on Friday and Saturday night.
